What Information do we collect about you?


We collect personal data about you in order to provide you with recruitment services that are tailored to your personal circumstances and your career goals.

The personal data that we collect includes your name, email address and telephone number. If you are actively searching for a vacancy we will also ask for details of the kind of work you are looking for and your location. If you provide a CV or similar document, we will keep that information for as long you want to keep your account with MSS People.

Alternatively, we may use Job Boards and Social Media channels to connect with candidates about current vacancies suitable to their requirements. By uploading a CV to a Job Board an individual has given consent to the Job Board processing their personal information. Therefore, if we have a vacancy suitable to you as a candidate we demonstrate that we have legitimate interest in contacting you. However, upon first response you will be asked to indicate whether you would like to proceed with the process. If not, your personal information will be permanently deleted from our database immediately.


As a client seeking the services of MSS People, we need to collect your personal information. This will be added to our database in order to track the recruitment process effectively and efficiently. This includes contact details for the vacancy holder, company details and website/social media information. This information is held indefinitely throughout the recruitment process and until the client requests the information to be removed.

What do we do with your personal data?


By registering with MSS People, it is understood that as a candidate, you are actively soliciting contact from MSS People employees regarding opportunities which match your skills and personal interests.

We will use your personal data to provide you with tailored recruitment services, to manage your account and to contact you about recruitment services which, for candidates, includes job alerts and information that we feel is relevant to your fields of interest.


By registering with MSS People for assistance with your organisations recruitment needs, it is understood that as a client, you are actively soliciting contact from MSS People employees regarding perspective candidates which may be suitable for your company.

We will use your personal data to provide you with regular updates on perspective candidates, to manage your account, to email you applicable CV’s for your review and other related information required throughout the recruitment process.


Once registered with MSS People as a candidate we will only send you information which relates to your employment search. This includes marketing campaigns featuring vacancies which according to your profile, would be suited to your experience and search criteria. On occasion, these campaigns may be generated through a third party service, an example being Mail Chimp ( In this case, Mail Chimp will be provided with your name and email address only.

If you consent to receive marketing material using your contact preferences, you may change your mind at any time. You can also amend the contact preferences in your account to stop us from contacting you in connection with our recruitment services by emailing

Data Sharing and Transfers

Data is saved only where it is necessary to do so in order to provide you with our recruitment services. Data is only ever shared with a third party, such as the example detailed above, with your permission.

Access to your information and correction

We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date and will delete or amend any information that you think is inaccurate. Should you wish to delete your account or make any changes you can do this by contacting us.

We aim to provide you with useful work-related services long after you have finished the recruitment process with MSS People. However, you have the right to close your account at any time and have us delete all of your personal information upon request.
